The breakfast cart makes morning meal service a breeze thanks to its clever design and functionality. This versatile cart is not only easy to use, but it also provides your facility with a complete point of service solution for breakfast meal delivery.
Two models of the Breakfast cart are available plated or bulk
For plated breakfast service, meals are plated in the kitchen and stored in the interior of the cart, which has a storage unit for 32 trays. As an option, it is also possible, at the time of service, to complete the set up of the tray by including what the patient/resident has chosen to drink. Liquids are in isothermal containers, made of either stainless steel or polypropylene.
Hot drinks containers are placed on the top of the unit and can be as simple isothermal distributors. Due to an electrical resistance, they can maintain the temperature of liquids or be used as electrical distributors to heat liquids. The distribution of liquids can be done at the last minute if the patients/residents so choose.
For bulk distribution, the cart is equipped to accommodate 40 to 45 breakfasts. There are 5 baskets containing crockery items (cups, plates, glasses etc.) and a number of GN 1/3 baskets perfect for transporting food in bulk (fruits, yogurts, jams, breads etc.). It is also equipped with a point of service for trays.
The cart frame is constructed using10/18 stainless steel, with doors made from melamine, insuring lightness, sturdiness and ease of use. Heavy duty castors (2 fixed & 2 swivel) offer comfort and security for the user by way of a double ball bearing system. The swivel castors come complete with an easy to use braking system.
Dirty dishes are placed in standard baskets, which can be put directly in the dishwasher, thus saving time for your personnel. Garbage is put in the optional garbage bag attached to the lateral shelf.
The doors of the cart open 270ยบ making the entire internal cavity accessible and easy to clean. Additionally, exterior surfaces can be personalized with imagery as to fit into any facility decor.
