Burlodge launches EmergTherm
Brampton, Ontario [ March 4, 2005 ]
Burlodge Canada is pleased to announce the launch of
it's EmergTherm program for healthcare food services. The EmergTherm
program from Burlodge has been developed, tested, and designed
to support today's institutions that require operational contingency
planning in the event of:
- Dishwasher malfunction
- Dishwashing renovations
- Pandemic outbreak
- Isolation tray ware
- Labor shortage
The EmergTherm program from Burlodge uses a high quality set
of single use (disposable) tray-wares. In partnership with Dixie
Food services, the development of a high heat compatible set of
plates, lids, bowls, and bowl lids called Dixie Stoneware allow
cold plating (retherm) and hot plating facilities the opportunity
to execute contingency plans that are reliable and that promote
excellent food quality outcomes. The Dixie Stoneware is complimented
by sturdy single use cutlery and an excellent hot beverage mug/lid.
"In a crunch, a food service operator can immediately enact
contingency efforts and not have to be concerned with washing
a tray" says Paul Gauntley, President Burlodge Canada. "The
outcome is a meal tray that looks appealing and supports all meal
assembly formats - the sites that have embraced this concept and
are using Dixie Stoneware distributed by Burlodge everyday have
seen operational savings, as well as high client satisfaction
scores."
